2023
The FCC announces organizations can apply for an FM radio station license for the San Juan Islands. It had been 10 years since the last opportunity to apply for a license. Application submitted in December 2023.
2024
In October Allen received an email from the FCC, suggesting that he modify his application by "unchecking" a single line item. If he did they would process his application immediately. He did and the application was approved. This helpful advice is completely unheard of in anybody's history of experience with the FCC. FCC authorized our project in November 2024
2024 - 2025
We built the KIXP facility starting January 2024.
The station was on the air July 5th 2025.
